We do not claim ownership of your content or the summaries generated from it.

6. Content Processing Disclaimer

To provide the Service, your submitted content is sent to third-party large language model (LLM) providers for processing. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, you acknowledge that your content is transmitted to and processed by these third-party providers. Do not submit content that is highly sensitive or confidential if you are not comfortable with this processing.

7. Payment Terms

Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. Payments are processed through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the following:

  • You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis for the subscription plan you select
  • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your plan)
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis at our discretion
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice

8. Service Availability & Modifications

We strive to maintain the availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. AI-generated summaries may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or errors. You should not rely on summaries as a substitute for reading the original content, particularly for legal, medical, financial, or other critical purposes.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Summary AI and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, regardless of the theory of liability.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may also delete your account at any time.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law
